On October 14, 2017 Linda was awarded the Louis T Benezet Award from Colorado College. As an award recipient Linda gave a short speech to thank the college for recognizing her achievements. In her speech Linda, not only expressed her gratitude , but how this award helped to affirm the unusual and difficult choices she made at the beginning of her career.

Linda’s class of 1967 were also honored during the service for their contributions and participation in the Reunion & Homecoming.
